About Stopping By
One of the highlights of my work for the Independent Schools Association of the Central States is the opportunity to visit schools and get to know their leaders. You’ll find my visits chronicled on this blog.
The place, health, and best practices of independent schools and development of independent school leadership are all keen interests of mine. As a result, I’m very pleased to serve the Independent Schools Association of the Central States in the role of President.
My thinking and work are informed by my experiences in a variety of roles in independent schools over the years: in professional roles as teacher, admission and development officer, division head, head of school, consultant, association board member, and association director; and on the personal side as independent school parent and head’s spouse. My personal interests include family, reading, photography, and travel — along with a regular game of Words with Friends.
